4-15-08:  No...it's not April Fool's, not only do we have our initial books out (Predatory Ways and Divine Destiny), a preview for Sake Moonshine and the newest sketchbook, but we also have a story in an anthology book with some of the best local talent around.  Ken Anthony's character, Mr. White, makes his debut in the anthology along with Blue Manta from Rob Rhine and Mike Foss (Maniacal Smile), Unlikely Heroes featuring Maniacal Smile by Joe Leone and the Blank Slate crew, and the debut of Redneck Red by Ben Filipiak and his crew.  We were at Mega-con, and had a great time, and the more recent Tampa con and also, you guessed it, had a great time.  The newest issue of Dragon Cross is coming out this month through Big City Comics.  Be sure to check out the new website and visit us at our next book signing at Comic World for Free Comic Book Day on 5-3-08.

3-4-08:  It's March madness and Artistic License is making big moves.  This month we have no less than 4 books coming from the studio (Sake Moonshine preview, Divine Destiny # 1 limited convention edition, Predatory Ways # 1, and AL Galleria Sketchbook volume IV), and the new issue of Dragon Cross from Big City Comics (by Rob Richardson with lettering by Gary Culler).  We're also appearing at Mega-con in Orlando.  Come check us out.  We're debuting our new website at: www.artlicensestudio.com and last but not least, Ken Anthony II is in the Christian comic based independent movie anthology: Not of this World: Survivors of Remic.

Last month, we helped found, and joined, the Tampa Bay Comic Colleagues Association.  This union of local independent comic entrepeneurs had it's beginning at the book signing at Pat Potters' Comic World on 2-23-08 and includes, Rob Rhine and Mike Foss (of Maniacal Smile), Ryan Thompson (of Not Quite Destiny), J.S. Earles (of Pistol Fist), Joe Leone (of Unlikely Heroes) and Ben Filipiak (of Redneck Red) along with honorable mention of comic legends: Pat Broderick and Barbara Kesel.

2008:   We hope you're ready for the onslaught.  We're coming out the box with conventions, a new website and books, yes, books that you can actually hold in your hands and read.  You know you want them.

Rob Richardson was already at FX show with Big City Comics and AL is following the success of that with a book signing February 23 at Comic World with the Maniacal Smile crew and comic legend, Pat Broderick.  That will rapidly be followed by appearing at the Mega-con March 6-9 and then Tampa con April 13.

Predatory Ways, Divine Destiny and Sake Moonshine are our initial titles and will be available as of Mega-con.
